Will You Be My Bridesmaid? Cards

What a fun way to ask your friends to be part of your special day? I had so much fun on this project and was so excited when Alexis came to me with it. She got the idea from a tutorial she saw on Once Wed. A simple card stating some facts about the wedding and asking your loved ones to be part of your special day. Young House Love: Guest Bedroom

I'm pretty sure I'm not alone when I say I have a cyber crush on Young House Love. I love to see the new projects they're working on and as usual, they did not disappoint with this guest bedroom makeover. I can't get over the color palette and I am in love with all of the use of pattern. There is so much loveliness to keep your eyes entertained without being over the top. This is definitely a room I would want to stay in and I have to admit I'm a little jealous...

There isn't much going on in this next photo, but I wanted to share it because I love this wall color! It's such a bold/dark choice that I'm not sure if I would have been brave enough to choose, but it looks gorgeous! This room is definitely a room I will use for inspiration when I finally get a place of my own! Fingers crossed that will be very soon! :)

They have already said they've made some changes to this room and obviously there is nothing on the walls, so I can't wait to see the finished product. I'd say they are for sure off to a great start!

Slacker Central

Yup. That is exactly where I am in the blog world. I absolutely love blogging but just can't seem to find the time to do it. Or do it right I should say. Throughout the day I find all sorts of lovely things I want to post about or share with all of you (mom, anna, jenny?) but once I get home from my "day job" I just can't find the injury to do it. Plus, I have a to-do list that seems to be a mile long these days. Ok - I just noticed that instead of saying "energy" to do it, I said "injury". Wow, can you tell I am supposed to be working on personal injury cases right not. Blogging on the job is probably frowned upon, but I needed a break! On a lighter note, Peonie season will be here before we know it! I love these - so cheerie! Wish I had this exact vase on my desk right now! It might just make work that much better! Anyway, happy Hump Day friends! Hope you have a good rest of the week and I hope to be blogging back to normal soon! :)

Happy Valentine's Day

I hope everyone is having an extra lovey dovey day today! Just thought I'd share a Valentine with all of you loves! We're working hard getting our new shop together and hope that it's ready really soon! I'll share as soon as I can! :)

Happy Valentine's Day

I'm not doing the whole pass out Valentine's thing, but if I were - I would be handing out these! :) Hope everyone has a wonderful day with the people you love! I'm giving myself a Valentine's Day present this year, because honestly - I use any excuse I can find to spend money on myself. I'm getting my hair done and I can't wait. Possibly thinking about going back to my norm and going a bit more blonde. We shall see! God is giving me a Valentine's gift as well - 40 degree weather this week! Oh, how I've missed the sunshine. It shall be a good week, I  hope! :)

Christmas Card | Leppla Associates, Ltd.

Christmas has come and gone but just wanted to share the card my office sent out to friends and clients! Our office is across the street from Carillon Park so we used a picture showing our sign, the bells in the park, and of course the snow (yuck, so sick of snow!). 

Update: 101 in 1001

I finally get to scratch another item off of my 101 in 1001 list! Actually, I get to scratch 2 things off! I have been wanting to organize my desktop and delete unnecessary files off my computer for what seems like forever! I really wish I would have taken a before picture of my desktop because it was majorly out of control! I obviously forgot to do that, but here is the after!

Ah, so beautiful! I ended up deleting over 1,000 files. I didn't have that many on my desktop, but you seriously could not see anything but icons covering the entire desktop - some icons were overlapping, there were so many. It feels so good to have the done. I feel like I just cleaned my house! haha The goal is to not let my computer ever get that out of control ever again!

Now that I can actually see my desktop, it's time to find a pretty background! :)

Dear February,

Please, please, please be good to us! I can't believe it's already the third of February. We've already said goodbye to January - 2011 seems to be moving at an even faster pace than 2010! How do you make time slow down? Things have been crazy at work. I've been working pretty late and the weather has not been very good to us. Lots of snow & ice. I am oh so tired of being cold!

On a happier note - things are pretty busy with Paisley Card Co. which of course I am thrilled about. It's just a shame my "real job" prevents me from working on projects for clietns all day long! Sigh. One day! :) Also, mi madre and I are working together on a really fun project that I can't wait to share with everyone! I'm so excited!

I've got to get back to work - must stay as busy as possible so the day flies by! :) And I can't forget, tomorrow is Friday, so the work week is almost through! Hope everyone has a nice, safe, and warm day! :)
